American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) is a multi-division, veteran-owned and -operated organization that provides portable displays honoring every major U.S. conflict from World War I through the present day. AVTT was originally formed in 1998, then was purchased and reformed in 2005 by Retired Lieutenant Colonel Don Allen (US Army and Vietnam Veteran) and his wife Dr. Barb Allen. They moved the organization’s base of operations to Bullard, Texas, in 2019, and greatly expanded the number of tributes available.
This year, the Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow is proud to welcome AVTT to our static display showcase. Representatives of AVTT will be accompanied by their Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, an 80% scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall has been part of more than 300 events across the United States over the last 15 years, and we’re proud to welcome this stirring tribute and the men and women who have made it possible to the 2023 Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow.
